For a limited time Microsoft are offering up to £100 to their UK customers when they 'trade in' an old computer and buy a new one.
If you purchase, or have purchased a new Windows 10 device featured on their 'qualifying purchases' list (link here: http://bit.ly/1PDOfcY) between 6/10/2015 and 27/10/2015, you could be entitled to cashback - as long as you claim it within fourteen days of purchase.
How much cashback you receive depends on how much you've forked out for your new Windows 10 device - if you've spent between £349 and £498.99, you could claim back £50, and between £249 and £348.99 might only see you £30 better off. If you've spent £499+ then you could be entitled to £100.
All you have to do is submit a claim online (link here: http://bit.ly/1Rm0k4V ) and then send off your old laptop, desktop or Chromebook- which has to be fully operational, only show ''normal'' signs of wear and tear and be no more than six years old. If you meet all the terms and conditions, the money should be in your nominated bank account 28 days later. You can even track your claim on the Microsoft website to see how its getting on.
This could be an unexpected bonus for those who have already purchased a Windows 10 device, but for those still on the fence Microsoft's (albeit temporary) promotion might sweeten the pot.
