We've been asking around the office to figure out exactly what the Transcendit team want for Christmas - assuming money was no object. Looking for gift inspiration and have a spare £2.4 million? Look no further!
Simon
3D printer, £246.48
Simon objected to being asked why he wanted a 3D printer, 'Why not? I'm grown up, I can have things now! I don't have to explain why I want things anymore.' When asked what he was going to make with his 3D printer? 'Stuff. That's what I told my wife aswell.'
Stefan
Wyrmwood Soujourn Gaming Table, £776.03
Stefan was encouraged by Dave to opt for the Soujorn Gaming Table. As such, we're not sure if this is a gift for Stefan or a second gift for Dave. The table features cup holders, card shelves and component organisers, and it is customisable so you can make sure it looks good with your board games.
Kai
The Valve VR Kit, £919
Kai is opting for the Valve virtual reality kit. According to Kai, 'It's the best VR kit there is, but you also need a really high end PC to use it. I might get myself the Oculus version for Christmas, which is closer to £300 rather than £1000. I really want to be able to play Half Life when it comes out.'
Kirk
The Phalanx Gaming Table, £1,665.34
Kirk also picked a wooden gaming table, complete with counter holders, card holders and cup holders so that you're the envy of your board game groups. The larger models come with dice towers built into the table, so you never have to roll a dice by hand again.
Dave
Point Blank Arcade Machine, £2999
Dave went for an arcade machine which was, 'cool, awesome, retro, and it reminds me of my childhood.' Dave had previously built an arcade machine which lived in our offices for a while, but according to Dave, 'That was a stick one, this is a gun one. It's completely different.'
Lee
Sion Electric Car, £19,759.57
This is a solar powered electric car that literally charges itself as you drive. Assuming you live in the UK and don't see the sun for days on end, you can also charge it at an electric charging point. Lee says he wants the right hand drive version of this. The main selling point? 'I would never have to fill up for my daily commute.'
Scott
GMT-Master II Rolex Watch, £28,250.00
Scott went for the GMT-Master II Rolex Watch. With this watch you can view two time zones at once and it's adjustable, and the website says that the clasp won't accidentally open which is definitely a good feature. When Scott was asked why he wanted this watch, he replied with, 'Why not?'
Steven
The Cliveden Greenhouse, £29,450.00
Steven wanted his mortgage paid off, or a private concert for his friends. Unfortunately he couldn't provide a link to these things, so instead he opted for a greenhouse, stating that, 'You'd have to buy me a new house aswell to fit this greenhouse in.'
Jonty
Blackfly Personal Aerial Vehicle, around £30,000
This is essentially a tiny personal plane. Jonty says, 'I can't think of anything better to get me between home and work - that distance is 20.5 miles, and it can go for 25 miles before it needs to recharge. I'd literally be able to fly over the A1. I could land in the car park.'
Christophe
Lotus Evija, £2.4 million
The Lotus Evija is an electric sports car, which has a significantly higher price tag than Lee Irving's choice of electric vehicle (although to be fair, we don't think both cars are marketed to the same audiences). Christophe says, 'I could literally live alone with this car and be happy.'
