We've had a few changes this month, as a couple of new faces have joined us and we've said farewell to a couple of others. Nick Elliot and Dan Morrison from our support team in Gateshead have moved on to pastures new. They will both be dearly missed, and everyone at Transcendit wishes them every success for the future.
Joining our support team this month are Joe Durham, and Gareth Robson.
Joe has a degree in marine engineering, and originally worked as an engineer in the merchant navy. After progressing up the ranks and managing the ship's IT systems, he decided he'd rather be home than away. He now lives on the quayside in Gateshead, and is working towards a qualification in Office 365.
Joe enjoys Munro bagging, and regularly visits Scotland with his father-in-law and his brother-in-law. They are currently working their way through the 232 Munros in the highlands. He once got so bored playing Portal 2 that his wife had to finish the game using both controllers.
Gareth started to become curious about IT in secondary school, and began tinkering around with his own computer. After taking it apart and putting it back together a few times, he started an apprenticeship in IT at a nearby school. He did this for 5 years until he decided that working with children wasn't really his thing.
Gareth is now a Microsoft Certified Solutions Architect, and is currently working towards an MCSE. In his spare time he looks after his newborn baby, Phoebe. When he can get an hour to himself, he enjoys PC gaming and going to football matches to support Newcastle United.
Gareth and Joe have already received great reviews from our customers, and we're very excited to welcome them to the team.
You can't beat us, so why not join us?
